2008 Gardens
![]() Erin Centre Middle School - a large shade garden project with outdoor classroom/seating area. Designed using various native trees and shrubs for naturalization as well as shade.
![]() Osprey Woods Public School - a varied garden space, the Osprey Friendship garden contains a perennial native wildflower garden for pollinators, a woodland forest garden, several native trees, an annual garden space for class seedling projects etc, and a large seating area for group activities.
Ruth Thompson Middle School - flowering native shrubs and evergreen tress in the 2008 Learning Garden project at RTMS add to previous outdoor seating, garden and naturalization projects undertaken by the school since 2006.

Port Credit Secondary School - with generous support from the Meridian Credit Union Good Neighbour Program, we were able to assist Port Credit, a participant in the 2008 EcoSource Secondary Green Schools Program to build an outdoor learning space. The Port Credit SS Peace Garden comprises a large group seating area as well as four individual seating areas for small group or independent study, shaded using native deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs.
