Waste Audit Kits

EcoSource has a comprehensive Waste Audit Kit available for weekly rental that contains all materials and instructions necessary to conduct a full scale waste audit at both elementary and secondary schools. These kits are available for all schools within the Region of Peel and will provide valuable experiential learning opportunities for students and staff to achieve waste reduction goals. A waste audit can also help your school fulfill the requirements of Waste Minimization, one of the pillars of achievement for the Ontario EcoSchools qualification.

The EcoSource Waste Audit Kits contain:

An easy to follow manual on how to conduct a waste audit
All necessary materials to conduct the audit (including safety gear, a scale, and sorting bags)
Follow-up activities (including result sheets and action plan templates)
Curriculum-linked lesson ideas and learning extensions

A $30.00 fee is requested for kit maintenance.
