Looking to take a tasty bite out of climate change? Interested in supporting farmers in the Greenbelt and throughout Ontario? EcoSource can connect you with food schools in the area that specialize in catering using fresh, local ingredients from in and around Ontario's Greenbelt! We have worked with schools in Peel, Wellington and Halton Regions. These schools have top notch catering programs that teach youth how to serve up food that's good to eat, and good for the planet.

The first ever Go Ontario! Granola bar!

Made with nothing but Ontario ingredients, this granola bar will give you a boost with Ontario cranberries, and cherries and apples from Ontario's Greenbelt. Organic Ontario oats and Greenbelt honey are the only other ingredients!

Peel Environmental Youth Alliance

The Peel Environmental Youth Alliance has launched their PEYA Online Community at www.peyalliance.com! The website allows Peel students to join meetings, workshops or speaker events “virtually”, as well as create their own environment project pages, and access news and resources. Students can also apply to the PEYA Alumni mentorship program, and sign up for volunteer opportunities on the website!

EcoSource's interactive workshops are tailored for each grade level in both elementary and secondary schools to show youth what they can do to reduce their waste and their impact on the planet. EcoSource has been delivering school workshops throughout Mississauga since 1986.

Naturalization

EcoSource has teamed up with Evergreen, the University of Toronto at Mississauga, the City of Mississauga and Credit Valley Conservation to deliver naturalization projects in Mississauga public spaces. We're building healthy communities through public participation in planting and stewardship activities (that's where you come in!).
