Elementary Workshops

EcoSource has been providing waste reduction and environmental education to schools in Mississauga since 1986. Our workshops, designed for youth from Grades 1- 8, focus on real waste issues that are truly relevant to school-aged children in the Mississauga area. Let EcoSource help you to meet curriculum expectations and inspire students to take responsible personal action to reduce their waste!

If you are thinking a year ahead, sow seeds…
If you are thinking ten years ahead, plant a tree…
If you are thinking on hundred years ahead, educate people.
-Chinese Proverb, 400B.C.

These interactive workshops are led by certified teachers or others experienced in the field of environmental education. Our workshops are also designed to support content and skill expectations in various disciplines of the Ontario Curriculum.
