Bag the Bags
A Design Contest - To raise awareness about the alternative choices to plastic bags
All classes that have participated in our "Bag the Bags" Workshop are eligible to participate in our Bag the Bags design contest. Please see below for contests rules.
EcoSource is pleased to have selected a winner of the 2010-2011 EcoSource "Bag the Bags Design" Contest!! We thank all the amazing classes for their submissions this year - it was a really difficult decision!!
Mr. Fazio's class at Brookmede Public School was the winner!
They created a colourful design that thoughtfully and creatively promoted the importance of reducing our waste through various practices including the use of eco-friendly bags!! Congratulations!!

Bag the Bags Contest Rules:
- Entries must be from classes that have participated in the EcoSource "bag the bags" workshop
- One submission per class
- Each class can create their own design that promotes reusable bags as an alternative to using and throwing away plastic bags
- Designs can include pictures, numbers and words and can be any size you want but must fit on a letter-sized sheet of paper
- Designs will be judged on idea creativity and how well they promote alternatives to plastic bags
- Designs should be emailed as an attachment (as a .doc, .pdf, or .jpg file) to sfrank@ecosource.ca under the title "Bag the Bags Contest"
- Entries must be received no later than May 1, 2010
- All entries will be posted on EcoSource's website throughout the year so that you can check out other classes' designs
- The winning class will be announced at the end of May and the entire class will win a set of their very own reusable bags with your class' winning design on it!
